IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS STARTING PSU IN FALL 2021:

Incoming freshmen and transfer students should complete Orientation prior to scheduling an appointment with their advisor for their first term. Completing Orientation opens access to registration and covers the information necessary to select and register for classes.

Once you have completed Orientation, you are strongly encouraged to register for classes as soon as you can. If you are unsure of what to register for, take your best guess based on the orientation module and your major's registration guide. If you have questions about your schedule, connect with an advisor. The options below are the best ways to find us.

SUMMER ADVISING OPTIONS

  1. Welcome Workshop--After Orientation, meet the whole team, talk to other students, and get a 15 minute 1:1 discussion with an advisor.

  2. 15 Minute Advising Appointment-We can verify your Fall registration!

  3. 30 Minute Advising Appointment-If your transcripts are up to date, we should be able to map out your classes for the upcoming year, or talk about other questions you have about attending PSU.

  4. Not sure what to do? Call the front desk of the Undergraduate Advising Resource Center, Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm and they can get you directed where you need to go: 503-728-3822

Meeting with a Society & Identity Advisor:

Students in this Pathway, including Exploratory, are assigned to their advisor based on the major or pre-professional program and the last two digits of their PSU ID number as listed below. Students who change their major within this Pathway after starting classes at PSU do not need to change their advisor.

Appointments with Pathway Advisors

Schedule an appointment using the advisor links at the bottom of this page, or call our Front Desk at 503-725-3822.

If you need assistance more quickly than your assigned advisor is available, you may schedule a 30 minute appointment with the next available advisor.

Prospective students without a PSU ID may meet with any S&I Pathway advisor or a Transfer & Returning Student Advisor.

For general questions, email sipathway@pdx.edu. Please do not use this email to request an appointment.
