About This Course
Effective communication is crucial for managers to positively drive business results. Often overlooked as a “soft” skill, it can be one of the hardest — and most important — skills for a manager to master. This course is designed to help managers develop self-awareness around their business communication styles, hone their interpersonal communication skills, and overcome obstacles and improve relationships through more effective communication.

Allison Brown has worked in senior roles in human resources, organizational development, and learning and development, including positions with Penske, Rite Aid, and Columbia Sportswear Company. She specializes in change management, strategic human resources, coaching, leadership, and project management. Allison earned a master's degree from Portland State University.
