About This Course
For an experienced project manager, a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI®) shows mastery of the fundamentals of project management and can give these professionals a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
This PMP® exam prep course is designed to prepare students to successfully pass the rigorous PMP® certification exam. Students will review the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®), receive coaching on studying for and taking the exam, take practice tests, and prepare a plan to successfully become a PMP®. In addition, this PMP® boot camp provides students with the required 35 hours of project management education in just four days.

What You’ll Learn

The Learning Environment
This course is delivered in a virtual format and combines lectures and discussions.
Students should be familiar with the PMBOK® and have met the requirements to sit for the PMP® exam. This course is also suitable for preparing for the less rigorous but still challenging CAPM® exam. Information on the PMI certifications can be found here.
Please note that this is a test preparation course, not an accelerated version of CEPE’s Project Management Certificate program.
Courses in the Project Management Certificate Track
Enrolling in the full certificate program provides students with a comprehensive overview of all aspects of project management.

- BP115: Project Leadership and Conflict Management
Courses may be taken individually and in any order unless otherwise noted. Four courses are required to complete the certificate. If pursuing the certificate, all courses in the certificate program must be completed within three years. Visit the program page for a recommended sequence.
Tom Parker, principal of Glacier Group Training, has more than 20 years of experience in consulting and project management, implementing enterprise applications and technology solutions for Nike, the Greenbrier Companies, and Deloitte Consulting. Tom is a certified Project Management Professional and a certified SAFe program consultant. He holds a BS in Finance from Indiana University.
Steve Brook founded Atainium, Inc., and is a natural facilitator who works to improve an organization’s capabilities by integrating people, processes, and technology to deliver tangible results. He has worked with Nike, Linear, PGE, Mercy Corps, Kroger, Albertsons, Nautilus, US Bank, Salem Health, and Fiserv. Steve holds a BS in Industrial Technology and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
