As part of the School of Social Work at Portland State University, the mission of the Regional Research Institute (RRI) is to conduct innovative research and program evaluation that address critical community issues. We work at the intersection of research, practice, training, and policy with local, state, regional, national, and international agencies and partners. The quality of our community-based participatory action work has gained us a national reputation.
Partnering with Communities to Achieve Solutions
As the School of Social Work’s research and program evaluation arm, the RRI develops measurement tools and logic models and assists in creating qualitative and quantitative data collection protocols. Finally, we produce and disseminate high quality reports and presentations.
At the School of Social Work’s Regional Research Institute, we are committed to translating learning into practice with our community partners. By creating interventions, training programs, and evaluations, our partnerships address local, state, national, and international concerns.
