Celebrate the archaeology of Oregon and beyond at the 9th annual Archaeology Roadshow, which has shifted to a virtual experience this year. As in past years, the Roadshow will feature dozens of presentations and activities hosted by archaeologists, community members, and students from around the state -- from universities, tribes, federal and state agencies, archaeology companies, and nonprofit organizations.

  • Browse a gallery of 30 "exhibits" (videos and blogs)
  • Tune into 12 real-time lectures and panels during the month of June
  • Explore a dynamic map of archaeological and cultural heritage points of interest in Oregon and our region
  • Meet virtually with specialists in archaeology and geology to learn more about the personal artifacts you have. Stone, bone, woven, plant and historical items are welcome.

All events are free and open to all. The Roadshow kicks off with an opening ceremony on June 1 at 4 p.m.

Visit the Archaeology Roadshow website for more information, including how to register for events and get updates over the month of June.

This is the first phase in an eventual shift to all proposals being submitted via Research.gov (or Grants.gov) instead of in FastLane.  To support the community through this migration, we are offering a series of BIO-wide virtual office hours during which high-level information about the process will be provided and as an opportunity for the community to ask questions of BIO program officers. The virtual office hours will occur: Mon, Oct 19, 2020, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT Tues, Oct 20, 2020, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM EDT Wed, Oct 21, 2020, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM EDT Thurs, Oct 22, 2020, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM EDT To register, please visit https://nsf.zoomgov.com/webinar/register/WN_-pXaabftTeiF2phfTaDxIw.
