Celebrate the archaeology of Oregon and beyond at the 9th annual Archaeology Roadshow, which has shifted to a virtual experience this year. As in past years, the Roadshow will feature dozens of presentations and activities hosted by archaeologists, community members, and students from around the state -- from universities, tribes, federal and state agencies, archaeology companies, and nonprofit organizations.
- Browse a gallery of 30 "exhibits" (videos and blogs)
- Tune into 12 real-time lectures and panels during the month of June
- Explore a dynamic map of archaeological and cultural heritage points of interest in Oregon and our region
- Meet virtually with specialists in archaeology and geology to learn more about the personal artifacts you have. Stone, bone, woven, plant and historical items are welcome.
All events are free and open to all. The Roadshow kicks off with an opening ceremony on June 1 at 4 p.m.
